Almora - A rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand

Almora is a cantonment town in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Ranikhet, in fact, falls in the Almora district. Almora is located on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Himalaya range. It is a peaceful town and if you get there, don't forget to try the town's especially, the baal mithai! Pack some for your friends and family as well because this is the only place where you'll find it.
