Upat Golf Course

One of the highest golf courses in Asia, the famous Upat Golf Course, also known as Ranikhet Golf Course, is situated only 6 km away from Ranikhet. It is located near Ghingari Khal and is looked after by the Kumaon Regiment.
Some famous Bollywood films like ‘Raja Hindustani’ have also been shot here.

Ancient Ranikhet Club

Ranikhet club is situated in the heart of the army cantonment. It is the perfect combination of ancient and modern. The club's history goes back to 1869 when it was started as a sanatorium and a recreational club by the Britishers. A must visit if you're in Ranikhet!

Chaubatia Gardens

Chaubatia Gardens is located about 10 km south of Ranikhet in Almora district of Uttarakhand. The name Chaubatia literally suggests the junction of 4 ways.
It is a gardens famous for its apples, peaches, apricots and plums. The delicious apple of Chaubatia Gardens is considered one of the best in UK.

Bhalu Dam

The Bhalu Dam is an artificial lake (reservoir) adorned in the preserved forest area located about 3 km from Chaubatia and 11km from Ranikhet. In order to quench the thirst of soldiers, this dam was constructed in 1903 by the then viceroy. You could also visit the splendid St. Bridget Church near the dam.

Jhula Devi Temple

Jhula Devi temple is an ancient 8th century temple located at a distance of 7 km from Ranikhet near Chaubatia. It is believed that the temple has the power to fulfill wishes and once your wish is fulfilled, you’re expected to come back and tie a bell at the temple to show your gratitude. When you visit the temple, you will see thousands of bells tied on the sides that testify the claim.

Haidakhan Babaji Temple

The Haidakhan Temple is situated at Chilianuala, Ranikhet. This temple was constructed by Baba Haidakhan trust. Haidakhan was believed to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva.

Mankameshwar Temple

Mankameshwar Temple is a Hindu shrine adjacent to Narsingh Maidan in Ranikhet. This temple was built in 1978 by the Kumaon Regimental Centre and is located near Rani Jheel in the army cantonment area.
